Sharps Collection

In an attempt to provide an inexpensive method to properly dispose of syringes and lancets ("sharps") the Nashoba Associated Boards of Health has established a program for its 16 member communities: Ashburnham, Ashby, Ayer, Berlin, Bolton, Boxborough, Devens, Dunstable, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster, Littleton, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Shirley, Stow, and Townsend. 

Empty sharps disposal boxes can be picked up at local Board of Health offices during office hours.  

Full boxes must be hand-delivered to Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, 30 Central Avenue, Ayer, during their office hours, along with a $5.00 fee per container.
