Accepted Items

RECYCLABLES

Recyclables need to be sorted.  There will be separate containers for each category. 
Cardboard and mixed paper
Clean plastic containers empty, rinsed and replace caps
Aluminum, steel, and tin cans empty, rinsed
Glass Bottles & jars empty, rinsed and lids removed. 
No household glass i.e. drinking glasses or dishes. 
Any returnable cans or bottles please donate to the Scouts at their trailer.

TEXTILES

We also accept clothing and textiles for free recycling.  Acceptable items include: clothing, footwear, sheets, blankets, handbags, and soft/plush toys.  Can be stained, ripped, etc and long as not wet or smelly.  No carpets, rugs, oil rags.

ELECTRONICS

Can also drop off electronics (computers and televisions) and fluorescent bulbs for a fee.  See an attendant at the Transfer Station for details.

YARD WASTE

Accepting leaves and grass clippings to be composted. 

Accepted year round at Phillipston Transfer Station

Tires, Mattresses, Books, Batteries, Mercury bearing products, Textiles.  Fees may apply for some items.

Swap shop open during Transfer Station Hours, accepts good, quality, reusable items in working condition.
